French fashion and portrait photographer based in Greece.

Djamel Boucly is a French photographer whose work moves between fashion, portraiture and visual storytelling.

Working internationally since 2009, he has photographed editorials, campaigns and portraits across Europe and beyond, with work published in titles including Vogue, ELLE, Harper’s Bazaar, InStyle, Glamour, Cosmopolitan and L’Officiel.

His photography is defined by a natural connection with the people he photographs, a strong sense of composition and an approach to fashion that feels elegant, intimate and cinematic rather than over-produced.

Alongside his fashion work, years spent photographing people, cultures and places have shaped a more instinctive way of working — attentive to character, movement, landscape and the moments that happen between poses.

Now based in Greece, Djamel is developing a new body of fashion and portrait work inspired by the country’s extraordinary light, architecture, landscapes and contemporary creative culture.

He works with fashion designers, magazines, creative agencies, jewellery and beauty brands, creating editorials, campaigns, lookbooks, portraits and visual stories.

Based between Corfu and Athens, and available throughout Greece, the Greek islands and internationally.
